The The CRV Fire Department used the house for practice and then burned it down.
We thought all would go well...
Cleaning up after the fire also didn't go as planned
But we got it done.

We were supposed to be in the fifth wheel for 6 months lol.
I just never tire of this view!

It is now the house we will never have except on this web page. The bureaucracy that said we could have all the windows we wanted changed people. The new people said 'no you can't... well maybe, lets go ask other people.' When the other people finally responded, the Pandemic was if full swing—tripling building costs and making this house unaffordable.
After 'Daryl' we redesigned this one bedroom on an unfinished basement. The story of this house is in SPUN. The Builder's estimates for this house was also unaffordable. Be careful when you ask price per finished foot as you design... the answers you want to hear are not realitiy in a post pandemic world. The builder was kind enough to send me a carriage house plan I redesigned the interior. I sent it to him, he was working on a quote, and I never heard from him again.... so back to the drawing board to design a price friendly box...
We got the go-ahead from our lending institution to build this one. Just as we were ready to sign on the dotted line I got a text from Haney. The story is in SPUN.
Under the lake there is a road that leads to nowhere now. We have had problems yes, but our neighbors have no road to their house. The river ate it up.... some problems are annoying, others are life changing.
