Introducing the People Inside the Stories

Spinning on a Barstool and Spun

are more than just the story of a dream and a con artist. Woven within the book are the fibers that make the stories—the people...

Welcome to Corky's Pub

When my daughter Taylor and I were working on the glasses for the cover of Spinning on a Barstool

She tucked in real graffiti from the back wall on Corky's pub.

On the right hand side is the graffiti face. On the left side we made a rat—sitting on a barstool drinking a beer :D

Meet our Tina. The real Tina. The good Tina

We have worked together for 16 years.

Amy is Tina's story, and it can be found in

Spinning on a Barstool

Meet Nikki, she is enjoying a drink with our Tina.

Nikki is also in Spinning on a Barstool

Nikki now works for Cam Tran in Chilliwack and is the fire that has ignited their involvement with our Tip Tuesdays in November at Corky's—donating thousands of dollars for gym strip, toiletries and shoes (among other things) at the Secondary School we are working with.

The story of Tip Tuesdays can be found in SPUN
